Karma...

Thank you for your comments on the post below everyone!! But I've just realised it was probably karma biting me in the bum!

10th November 2010

You see, a little while ago when I was rushing to catch the bus home, I told one of those people-that-try-to-stop-you-because-they-want-you-to-sign-up-for-their-charity that I already had, in fact, signed up for their charity (I hadn't) and then he proceeded to yell out after me as I rushed off, that I was a good person. I felt really bad. I am not a good person. (But just to make it clear, I do donate money to different charities - they just mostly happen to be animal charities).

So there you go - karma, don't mess with it.

These photos are actually from some time ago, my hair is much longer now and our plants are crazy big. The hanging baskets have strawberry plants in them and at last count, we had 84 tomatoes ripening on our 6 tomato vines. I have some more oldies up my sleeve somewhere too.

PS) I'm so sorry for not commenting on blogs right now, I am still reading them (well, my reader tells me differently, but I do try to stop by a few each day). I promise regular commenting and blogging will return after the wedding. And a few wedding posts too of course.

  7. Your dress is so delicate and fine, both in shape and in colour. I adore the shape of the skirt especially. I avoid people wanting you to donate to charities on the street. I already donate to two with automatic payments every month. They shouldn't make you feel harassed or a bad person at all. Everyone has a budget and different priorities.
