Halloween...

Happy Belated Halloween...

How was yours? Ours was rather laid back besides carving pumpkins, which David actually did all by himself while I was sewing.

31st Oct 09 1

I didn't really dress up, but I put on my vintage orange mini dress for pumpkin photos, which David took (thanks Hun). We also discovered that Mocha likes to eat pumpkin - how very healthy of her :)

31st Oct 09 2

We didn't quite get around to making pumpkin pie, but hopefully will get on top of that tonight. And speaking of tonight - today is David's birthday, Happy Birthday Hun!!

ps) Look out for a shop update in the middle of this week - I have two winter woolly skirts to put in the shop for those of you entering the cooler months.

Awww, those are little cute pumpkins. I like your Halloween outfit :) That orange dress is so cute.
I can't wait to see the new skirts when you post them in your etsy shop :)

Oh Halloween - so much fun!

Also - I found a really sweet and simple vintage dress the other day - it may make a lovely pattern! (or for all I know it may already be a simple one...forgive my ignorance if so, but my sewing skills are rudimentary at best!) Would it be all right if I sent you a picture?

Your carved pumpkins look great! I didn't get around to carving any this year (sad!), but I'll be digging into one soon to scoop out the seeds and roast them! Mmm!

i LOVE your vintage mini dress!

erik and i went to a wedding on Halloween! it was totally awesome. everyone wore costumes (we were Elvis and Priscilla Presley), and the bride and groom and their kids (this was a re-marriage for two people who had divorced each other) dressed as the Addams family!

Very cute little pumpkins! I love how sweet the vintage mini dress is, too. Perfect for Halloween. :)

I had a nice Halloween as well. We did go out in the city, but for the first few hours I answered the door (in costume) and got to see the neighborhood kids trick-or-treat.

Those pumpkins are so darling! I was itching to carve one or two this year, but it's so darned hot and humid, I was afraid they'd start to rot before we got to Halloween. Ick! :p

I love your little mini dress too--so cute!!!

(Btw: I owe you an email! I've gotten horribly behind this past weekend with replies--shall get to it today though! ;)
