Hello Hello,
I'm back, and all of my events for the year are over except one last market day next week. Everything went incredibly well and I had lots of people telling me that I could leave with my head held high - which I am. I'm exhausted, but happy that everything is essentially over, and now for the next few months I am just planning for next year.
This weekend was full on - on Friday, I was lucky enough to be given some tickets for my staff for the Dunedin show of the Wellington International Ukelele Orchestra (we helped them with some promotion!). And it was truely amazing. They are an incredibly talented group of people - and listening to Sweet Child Of Mine sung by 11 people playing the ukelele was insane. You should check them out if you are in NZ - they are still touring.
And then Saturday was the last of the awards nights. I do have some photos from my events which I'll post this week. Some of them though, you can't actually see my outfit that well, so I'll need to do re-creations :)
These photos I took on Sunday, it was wet and rainy and snowy on the hills. I was experimenting with different places to take outfit shots and just general pretty little pictures too. I can't believe its the second month of Spring and we still have snow!
David and I have both been working hard lately - him more so because he is trying to finish his masters, apply for PHD scholarships and mark essays for the tutorial he takes. He is also off to London next week for 10days with his dad.
His dad turns 60 this month and wanted to spend it with his boys and since David's brother lives in London - the both of them are off to spend some time together.
I'm jealous, but mostly sad that I am going to be by myself for 10days. But I have given him a secret mission to accomplish for me while over there. I won't tell you what it is just in case though! Soon soon...
And with that, the end of this post. Expect posting to become alot more regular now and expect some shop updates in the next few weeks. I've been working on custom orders when I can in my spare time, hence no new things for the shop lately - sorry.

ps) I also plan to catch up on blogs and comments this week too. Yay! I have missed you.

Your hair looks so pretty!
You just have the greatest outfits! I adore that skirt, I love the buttons and that blouse is so pretty. Great pictures :) It's good to hear that all your major, stressful events are done with and it's sounds like you had a busy but fun weekend! :)
(Hope you got the recipe I e-mailed to you!)
Lovely pics (adore that skirt in the last image).
xoxo.
Very nice! Congratulations on finishing the year out well.
The ukulele performance sounds incredible - I'm trying to picture it!
Love your high-waisted skirt.
That skirt is adorable! I love the lighting and colors in the last couple of pictures - so pretty. :)
I'm glad to hear that you'll have some time to relax now!
It sounds like you're in for some much needed r&r. Congrats on finishing your events with success!
The last photo is especially lovely. Very serene. The lighting and composition is beautiful. And, I'm loving your blouse & skirt ensemble :)
P.S. I agree, it is a great pity that Polaroid film comes with a hefty price tag. When I get my hands on some more I know its going to be difficult to be frugal with it!
You look lovely x
How lovely! I hope things get a bit more bright and spring-y soon :)
Love the new places for photos!! You have a really pretty yard, I wish mine looked that nice!
Glad your events went well!

It's always great to get to the end of a busy period of work - I can't wait until taking a few weeks off in summer. The ukelele orchestra will be cool!
So pretty ! As usual !

I adore the skirt! When my guy goes away, I do things for myself like watch girly movies, eat foods he doesn't like, and read for hours in bed :)
How beautiful you look.
Grey and white really attract each other. The high waist skirt is lovely.
That's such a great skirt!!!

Such a classic look! Love the romantic blouse.
Great skirt, and I love the ankle boots with it!!!
You look so gorgeous, Jen! :) I especially love the picture of you sitting on the couch--it's a nice change from the usual outfit photo. ;)
Aw... I can totally sympathize with you about feeling a bit left out/lonely when your guy goes on a trip! Hopefully he'll have lots of fun tales and gifts to bring back to you! ;)
